Tugboat’s Revising Thyme at Bydand
“Thyme”
DOB: March 29, 2023
Thyme comes from my daughter Sierra’s first litter. Sierra is breeding under the kennel name Tugboat Newfoundlands. Thyme is a very sweet girl. She was a challenge as a puppy, I have never had a pup who was so handsy and mouthy in all the years I’ve been raising Newfs. Fortunately, she grew out of that. She is such a wonderful girl, so sweet and kind, loves to give hugs and kisses. She has the most gorgeous structure and movement. I’m looking forward to showing her.
Some people think she is a brown and white “landseer”. She is not. I had her DNA color testing done to determine her coloring definitively. She is a solid brown dog with white markings. She does carry one copy of a gene to make the landseer marking pattern. But since she only carries one gene, she is a “solid” dog with white markings.
OFA – Elbows, heart and cystinuria. Hips have been xrayed and she is not dysplasic, but they need to be redone due to poor xray positioning.

“Whiskey”
DOB: Nov 13, 2024
Whiskey is out of my male Noah from YEARS ago. I used the last of my frozen semen for her litter. Whiskey is a monkey if there ever was one. She loves to hug and just hang on. She will climb in your lap, or chair. Such a wonderful girl. Whiskey earned Star Puppy title in March 2025.
OFA – Whiskey is too young at the moment. I’ll start health testing summer of 2026
